Highlights of Funding Support

The Boosters serve a few different functions related to finances for the Loveland performing arts.

  • The Boosters have a General Fund, which is supported by multiple local businesses as well as annual Individual / Family Booster Memberships and Silver/Gold/Platinum donations. Boosters fundraising / social events held throughout the year also contribute to the General Fund. The General Fund supports the Loveland Performing Arts programs in a variety of ways that vary year-to-year:
  • Annual scholarships awarded to graduating seniors
  • Middle School Music T-shirts
  • Students' food for special events
  • $100 per student cost/fee offset for show choir and marching band
  • Special requests from program Directors (recent examples include a sound system for the LMS choir room and a generator for the LHS marching band).
  • A new display case and interactive video system in the main LHS hallway to provide information, celebrate and promote the performing arts programs, students and alumni (coming 2026)
  • Operating expenses for the Boosters
  • The Boosters collect donations for scholarships specific to show choir and marching band fees, to help offset individual student participation fees (as-needed, used at discretion of program Directors)
  • The Boosters hold accounts for individual performance groups (LHS and LMS choirs, bands, orchestras, & drama) that receive specific donations, have ticketing income, hold fund-raising events, and incur costs that support student experiences. One example is the LHS and LMS jazz bands, who hold an annual fundraising event and incur costs including guest artists/clinic musicians, special arrangements, and external student performances/travel. Use of these funds are at the discretion of the various program Directors.
  • The Boosters act as an account-holder and pass-through for organizations that collect student participation fees (Show Choir and Marching Band)
